Here's why I'm a Personal Trainer
I'm obsessed with strength and improvement of others. My transformation took work. The kind of work that can only be done through passion for change. Living with an extra 100 pounds is a prison of flesh. Suffocation is the best word for it. Food becomes the only comfort and change seems impossible.
During a tragic family event I realized I wanted more out of life. I promised myself I'd serve as an example to my family and friends by losing 100 pounds in a year. In 2012, the bar was set and I transformed from 320 pounds to 200 pounds.
I knew I could inspire people at this point but wanted to be more tactical. I spent the next 3 years under intense self study and education. I was shocked by the lies from corporate fitness influence and even respected athletes. I still can't believe how much money I'd waste because of bad advice.
I became certified through the National Academy of Sports medicine so I could start teaching and eventually became a certified strength coach with USPA Powerlifting.
Seeing others change did more for me than anything I've ever done for myself. At this point I knew I had a responsibility. I couldn't have a conversation without inspiring someone to change!
This new found skill led to Club Iron Gym, my private training facility. It was there where I began mastering this craft, influencing online and changing the lives of my community both online and local.
Now, in 2018 I decided to close the doors to my gym. I became too busy and couldn't wear the many hats of running a facility. I'm now helping as many as possible at the best training facility I could find called Self Made. It's allowing me to work with new people, run my own business and master the art of help.
I specialize in helping. I'll give anyone the attention they deserve with 100% confidence. It's truly rewarding seeing physical, psychological and lifestyle progress in another person.

In 8 weeks (more or less) I can help you look your absolute best. I've been a professional photographer longer than I've been a trainer so I promise photos will be gold. The USPA certified me in 2016 to coach any athlete toward the platform. For two years I helped a gym full of strong powerlifters. I'm extremely confident in my abilities to get you as strong as possible in big, compound movements such as the squat, bench and deadlift.
